Community Foundation of Gaston CountyClient ObjectivesThe Community Foundation of Gaston County has been a client of Flying Bridge since 2001. They wanted to refresh the original design, but also needed to provide more of a marketing and informational source for Run For The Money which is their biggest fund raiser. In addition, they wanted to more to preserve and enhance all of the functionality of their old website. Flying Bridge SolutionsAs part of the website redesign, Flying Bridge wanted to make use of the many photographs they take throughout the year at their events. The photos speak to their mission and provide a better illustration of the impact they have on the community. With this said, FBT integrated a Flash photo gallery into the home page design and allows the client to update the photos themselves. As for Run For The Money, FBT suggested making it a key area of the website. Since a lot of their marketing will drive visitors directly to this area, more attention was given to it. This area serves as a one stop information source for all things related to the Run For The Money. Post Project ResultsThe revamped look has been well received and website traffic has spiked just by word of mouth. The Run For The Money area is a big asset and resource for communicating the yearly event and all of the client's marketing efforts push people to it. |
